Video Download User Guide

Internet Explorer users please follow these steps.

  1. If you want a Windows Media video (.wmv), right click on "Download for Windows Media Devices." Proceed to Step 3.
  2. If you want a video that is compatible with a video iPod or can be viewed with Quicktime, right click on "Download for Apple iPod or other MP4 player."
  3. Select "Save Target As . . ."
  4. Select the folder or location on your computer where you want to download the file to and click "OK."
  5. Download begins. (Each lesson takes approximately eight minutes for high speed Internet connections.)
  6. Once download is complete, import your downloaded file(s) into either Windows Media Player or iTunes and sync/add the file to your portable device. If you do not have a portable device, the files can also be viewed in either Windows Media Player (for .wmv files) or a MP4-compatible video player such as Quicktime.

Firefox and Chrome users please follow these steps.

  1. If you want a Windows Media video (.wmv), right click on "Download for Windows Media Devices." Proceed to Step 3.
  2. If you want a video that is compatible with a video iPod or can be viewed with Quicktime, right click on "Download for Apple iPod or other MP4 player."
  3. Select "Save Link As . . ."
  4. Select the folder or location on your computer where you want to download the file to and click "OK."
  5. Download begins. (Each lesson takes approximately eight minutes for high-speed Internet connections.)
  6. Once download is complete, import your downloaded file(s) into either Windows Media Player or iTunes and sync/add the file to your portable device. If you do not have a portable device, the files can also be viewed in either Windows Media Player (for .wmv files) or a MP4-compatible video player such as Quicktime.

Safari users please follow these steps.

  1. If you want a Windows Media video (.wmv), hold the CTRL key and click on "Download for Windows Media Devices." Proceed to Step 3.
  2. If you want a video that is compatible with a video iPod or can be viewed with Quicktime, right click on "Download for Apple iPod or other MP4 player."
  3. Select "Download Linked File."
  4. Download begins and file is downloaded onto your desktop.
  5. Once download is complete, import your downloaded file(s) into either Windows Media Player or iTunes and sync/add the file to your portable device. If you do not have a portable device, the files can also be viewed in either Windows Media Player (for .wmv files) or a MP4-compatible video player such as Quicktime. Select the folder or location on your computer where you want to download the file to and click "OK."
