Licensed CD-ROM & DVD-ROM Products
In addition to the Telecourse program, ACT is also offering specific CD-ROM and DVD-ROM sets at a discounted rate to institutions that have licensed the courses through the producer. These CD-ROM and DVD-ROM sets can be given or sold to students or placed in libraries for student use. These digital products offer student-centered instructional design and provide increased flexibility in accommodating the needs of a greater number of distance education students.

Those institutions wishing to purchase student CD-ROM or DVD-ROM sets are required to license the course(s) being used and are asked to contact the telecourse producers directly. No additional licensing is required if a license is currently held by the institution for the purpose of broadcast, cablecast, streaming video, or college by cassette. Duplication rights of CD-ROM and DVD-ROM content is not available for any of these products.

- Operating System: Windows 98 or higher.
- Windows Media Player 7.0 or higher is required to view the videos.
- Flash 6 Player or higher.
- Audio speakers or headphones
- Video display properties set at 800x600 high color
(16 bit is recommended)
- 12x or greater speed CD-ROM drive (DVD drive for DVD-ROM)
- Pentium processor 200 MHz or faster
(Pentium II 300 MHz or greater is preferred)
- Internet Explorer 5 or Netscape 4.7 or higher
Macintosh/Apple users
Dallas Telelearning CD-ROMs and DVD-ROMs are not compatible with Macintosh/Apple computers.
